BICO Mesh
E-Glass type, alkali resistant, coated with a layer of SBR (Styrene-butadiene).
The fiberglass mesh from BICOmesh range guarantees a durable reinforcement of surfaces with a thick, medium or thin layer of plaster. Our fiberglass mesh is made of “E-glass” yarns and it is primed with an emulsion of Styrene-butadiene specially created for the glass yarn. This compatibility of raw materials offers a high resistance in the alkaline environment of the reinforcement mortar and a lifespan equal to the plasters it reinforces. The BICO fiberglass mesh is mainly used as reinforcement element in the External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) based on mineral wool, expanded polystyrene or any other type of thermal insulation board.
BICO Scrim
Fiberglass scrim (E-glass type) and Bico Scrim Pes (Polyester), specially designed for the reinforcement and dimensional stabilization of industrial products by lamination.
BICO Scrim fiberglass and Bico Scrim Pes are specially designed for the reinforcement of industrial products that need a substantial improvement of their mechanical properties, being the element that guarantees a high tensile strength and perfect control of the elasticity of the finished material. These fiberglass and polyester scrims are made by a technological process known worldwide as “laid scrim”, through which the continuous filament glass and polyester yarns are laid down in an open mesh structure and the bonding between longitudinal warp yarns and transverse weft yarns is made by chemical welding.

Fiberglass reinforcements produced by laminating BICOscrim fiberglass scrim on fiberglass nonwoven materials.
BICOtwin fiberglass reinforcement combines the properties of the layers of which it is composed and offers flexibility, high tensile strenght and dimensional stability of the materials in which it is integrated. With a high resistance to delamination, BICOtwin reinforcements are designed for the reinforcement and dimensional stabilization of bituminous and synthetic membranes that are used in both industrial and civil buildings.
BICO Profiles
PVC or Aluminum L profiles with fiberglass mesh.
Corner beads made of PVC or ALUMINUM with fiberglass mesh used for strenghtening, protection and aesthetization of exterior corners on surfaces finished with different types of plaster. The fiberglass mesh on PVC or ALUMINUM profiles facilitates their integration into plaster layers, offers flexibility during installation and durability of finished corners.
